The China National Chemical Information Center (CNCIC) is delighted to announce the inaugural China International Water-soluble Fertilizer Conference & Exhibition taking place on 7-8 July 2010 in Beijing. This is the first event in what will be an annual series of fertilizer convention organized by CNCIC.
Water-soluble fertilizer contains all kinds of elements which are necessary for crops, such as N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, etc. The nutrient content of water-soluble fertilizer can be designed according to different crops requirements, and its efficiency is 2-3 times higher than common fertilizers. It is also very convenient to apply water-soluble fertilizer. The technology includes sprinkler irrigation, drip irrigation etc, which not only save water but also save the input of fertilizer and labor. The economic profit is obvious, especially with the increasing labor costs nowadays.
With the worse scarcity of water resources and the development of intensive agriculture and the scale operation of farms, with the popularization of water-saving equipments such as sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation in China, more and more governments, researchers and farmers realize the importance of developing water-soluble fertilizer. Water-soluble fertilizer is a new generation of fertilizer with more environmental friendly and sustainable development. It is also the important direction of China’s fertilizer industry both at present and in the future.
The current status of Chinas fertilizer industry is that nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer oversupply while potash in shortage. With the rapid growth of capacity and production, China has been troubled by the low efficiency of fertilizers. In recent years, how to increase fertilizer efficiency, protect environment and improve crop’s quality is paid much more attention by Chinese government and researchers. Therefore, for the inaugural China International Water-soluble Fertilizer Conference & Exhibition, the programme will focus on the theme of “Cost-saving, High Efficient and Environmentally Friendly”.
China International Water-soluble Fertilizer Conference & Exhibition will bring together senior fertilizer executives from the production, consumer, trading and technology sectors to discuss the market potentiality, development prospect and technical status of water-soluble fertilizer both in China and in the world.
