CropWorld Global 2011 is an internationally focused, three-day conference and exhibition providing unique learning, knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities for those involved in the increasingly complex world of global food production.

Event:

Bringing together world-renowned scientists, global thought leaders in the private sector and policy drivers from the public sector including government officials, CropWorld Global 2011 will debate critical global and regional developments and probe into the most significant challenges facing the industry as it deals with the challenge of doubling production to feed a rapidly growing population forecast to reach 9.5 billion by 2050 with increasing competition for water and energy.

In addition to those high level discussions and debates, a hand-picked selection of international specialists will delve into specific areas of crop production to showcase the latest research findings, technologies, innovations and products. These sessions range from challenges in water and irrigation and seed treatments to sustainable sourcing strategies and financial and investment opportunities.

Conference:

Over 200 delegates attended in 2010, representing a range of sectors including agrochemicals, machinery, precision technology, education & training, plant nutrients, fertilisers and agricultural management solutions and more.

The 2011 conference programme will incorporate a day of intensive discussion and debate, followed by two days of streamed sessions. Delegates will be able to choose from a combination of multiple sessions most suited to their learning needs.

Exhibition

The CropWorld 2011 exhibition will provide the perfect platform for face to face networking with over 2000 clients and suppliers. An impressive range of organisations including research institutes, machinery manufacturers, agrochemical suppliers and training bodies will make up the 100 exhibitors.

Features this year include:

- Speaker’s Corner an opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to present products, research findings and expertise to the show floor.

- The Poster Session, which will give scientists and research students the chance to discuss results on a variety of thought-leading projects. Authors are invited to submit poster contributions summarising research results on all aspects of crop production and food. You can submit your application for the Poster Session here.
