Agrikexpo & NABG Conferences is Africa's largest forum for Agribusiness Networking and Development.

As the Nigeria and the entire West Africa intensifies focus on Agriculture for economic growth and food security, Agrikexpo & Conferences has over 6 consecutive editions continued to play leadership role as foremost platform for agribusiness networking and development in the region . Agrikexpo is collaborated by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture &Rural Development, Federal Ministry of Trade & Investments, National Agency for Food Drug Administration Control, (NAFDAC), Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG), Poultry Association of Nigeria(PAN) and several other Agribusiness trade associations.
Consequently several conferences would hold concurrently at Agrikexpo to further deliver an audience of core trade professionals and entrepreneurs.
Agriculture holds West Africa's biggest promise for economic growth, given the amount of untapped opportunities in the sector. Holding AGRIKEXPO in Nigeria is most strategic considering her status as the hub of trade in the region, population, GDP, and arable but uncultivated land mass. Often decision makers in agrofood Industry from all over West Africa attend the expo in quest of business development benefits. On an annual and regional basis, more than US20billion is committed to import of processed and packaged foods, not minding the abundance of arable land and good weather for agriculture. More than 90% of inputs and machinery deployed to agriculture in the region are also imported from overseas, which figure comes to more than US4billion per annum and is projected to grow by a 10.6% factor between 2018 and 2019.
Owing to the growing popularity of Agrikexpo, attendee figures in 2017, expanded partnerships with agrofood trade associations and intensified promotional activity across the region, over 10,000 trade visitors are expected from different countries of West Africa in 2018.
Many National and State Agricultural Development Agencies and their representatives would be at the event and would be seeking direct interactions with solution providers and to see products on parade. Most States today have specific areas of agro-investments needs and offers to prospective partners, including abundant arable land for cultivation and husbandry. There is also a great deal of need in the area of rural infrastructural development which again presents good opportunity to potential investors.
