IFF has just launched a new distance learning course on Agribusiness. Starting in March, you can join your peers and learn the skills to lend, invest and operate in the ever-evolving world of agribusiness. You will study ten units over 20 weeks and can study for a postgraduate certificate qualification from Middlesex University.
This is the most convenient way for you to secure a thorough appreciation of the largest industry in the world today.
The units are: Introduction to Agribusiness; Agricultural Science; Farm Management; Agricultural Marketing and Risk Management; Agricultural Lending; The Agribusiness Supply Chain; International Agribusiness Markets; Policy, Agencies, Regulation and the Future of Agribusiness; Modelling Agribusiness Investment
A unit is released every two weeks and each one ends with a test so that you can check your progress. You can also contact your trainer and fellow participants via the online forum.
Course Director Julian Roche has recorded a video introduction to the course, allowing you to hear from him directly. He has years of industry experience as well as being one of IFF's most popular trainers. He is Adjunct Lecturer in the Agriculture Department of the University of Western Australia. He works as a consultant, advising global banks, and government agencies including UNCTAD, on aspects of agribusiness, investment, valuation and restructuring.
