The latest market data from GfK makes it clear that the Chinese agrochemical market is easily the largest in the world, estimated at farmer level to be US$14 billion.   It continues to expand and adapt to the rapidly evolving needs of Chinese farmers as farm output and the range of crops increases to meet growing domestic consumer demand.

This June 9-11 in Barcelona, Spain, The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will hold the 2nd CAC European Summit where European Companies will have the opportunity to understand the details of this market at a free one day summit followed by the opportunity to meet some of the companies driving this growth in specially arranged one to one meetings. Over 40 Chinese representatives will be present to discuss their companies’ interest in the European market with the goal of founding long term partnerships.

The seminar programme on Tuesday 10th June at the Expo Hotel, Barcelona will include both European and Chinese presenters who will cover Europe from a Chinese perspective, building relationships with Chinese companies, as well as the GfK Chinese market data.   Registration and a Welcome Reception will be held the evening before.

The event is free to register for any European company with an interest in the Chinese market or in building relationships with Chinese companies.

Rob Fryatt from the European organizer partner – Xenex Associates commented: “The event is open for any company – manufacturer, distributor, research organization or regulatory specialist - anyone with an interest in China!   It is simple and easy to register with the scope to pre-arrange one to one meetings either ahead or during the event.   This is a unique not to be missed opportunity here in Europe”.

The CAC European Summit is one of a series of international summits developed from the CAC Agrochem Show held each spring in Shanghai, which is already the largest annual industry event.
