The shortlist for the Agrow Awards has been announced on 24th July 2009. The companies and individuals who won the nomination are listed below. Apart from some leading agrochemical multinationals, such as DuPont Crop Protection and Dow AgroSciences, it is worth mentioning that five Chinese companies were shortlisted for the Agrow Awards. They were Red Sun Group Corporation, Zhejiang Xinan Chemical Industrial Group Co, Nutrichem Company Limited, Shenyang Sciencreat Chemicals and Hebei Veyong Bio-Chemical Co Ltd, respectively, among which, the Red Sun Group Corporation garnered two nominations, the Best Company from an Emerging Region – Asia & ROW and the Best Supplier.

Agrow Awards was established by Agrow in 2007, aiming at encouraging the companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of agrochemical industry. The winners of Agrow Awards 2009 will be announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 11th November 2009 at the Renaissance Chancery Court, London.
