The CropWorld India 2010, sponsored by the UBM and the PMFAI, was held successfully on 25th-26th May at Mumbai.

The CropWorld India 2010, which specific to the issues in the Crop production sector in India, is niched in the global crop production market and the need to meet the demands of a rapidly changing global crop protection industry.

As an increasing demand on food and limited land availability in the future, it is imperative for India to increasing food yield by applying more Crop protection products and technologies. Thus India becomes an attractive place with its large and growing market.

The conference was focus on encouraging the communication and collaboration among the industry and creating commercial opportunities for the sectors from across the region. The conference has discussed several issues about R&D, regulatory, international strategies, the CP market in India and China, and regional business development opportunities.
