Adopting Best for Inclusive Lending For the Agricultural Value Chain

The rst Annual-Africa Agri-Finance Forum AAFF 2018 is scheduled for 25th September 2018 in Nairobi Kenya. Forum Theme: Adopting Best for Inclusive Lending For the Agricultural Value Chain. This annual agship event will seek to showcase solutions that will close the productivity gap as a stride toward alleviating agri-nance activities in the continent. Whether it is to increase yields, save water, improve soil health, produce renewable energy or simply increase know how, there will be myriad of solutions to showcase at AAFF 2018 to help food producers across the animal production, aquaculture, and crop production and horticulture industries.

According to expert reports, agriculture sector in Africa is the least productive in the world. Small-scale and subsistence farmers, pastoralists, and shermen produce most of the food consumed in this region, yet they continue to face a number of challenges. Lack of capital for investment contributes signicantly to the lowering of small scale farmers' productivity levels.
An exhibition will run alongside the event and will show case latest technologies and other innovative products and solutions. Leaders from across agriculture will kick off the dialogue by sharing their visions, progress to date
and lessons learned for building secure, sustainable and profitable food production systems.

Our objective for the AAFF 2018 edition is to bring together the best minds within the industry and by tapping alternative views from the outside, make this rst edition a must-attend forum. The sessions will offer in-depth focused discussions on topical issues as part of AAFF initiative to generate take-home practical solutions that will see the industry reach its critical mass. As with past conferences, the program will cover important case developments, critical practice issues, and notable industry trends. Don't miss your chance to learn what lies ahead and connect with other regional leaders.

It is expected that this forum will trigger practical regional and national investments in initiatives that will support the adoption of structural and policy changes to facilitate greater insurance inclusion and penetration for all. Workable and implementable plan of
action will be initiated and we are therefore inviting all the stakeholders to
ensure their representation at this event. In the long term, it is expected that the event will grow into an rotational regional event bringing together stakeholders from across the region and globe.
