Hazera
This year, we’ve decided to include a larger selection of pre-commercial hybrids to our Brassica assortment, ready for you to have a peak into the future!
For onions, rapid and uniform field emerge are two essential factors to increase the yield and crop quality, especially in unfavorable weather conditions. Therefore, Hazera focuses not only on the development of improved hybrid onions, but also on methods on how to give these varieties a spring boost. We developed a priming method resulting in early and uniform plant establishment, even under cool conditions, resulting in higher yield and better quality. We are happy to discuss this further with you.

It is also possible to visit the Hazera tomato demonstration center in Bleiswijk. Here you will find an interesting range of snack tomatoes, cherry, cluster, loose and beef tomatoes. For more information and visits please contact Geert van der Wel: +31 (0)6 34594516 or Marcel van Kester: +31 (0)643840734.

On Wednesday the 26th of September we organise a debate ‘From commodity to convenience. Who will buy a whole onion, cauliflower or cabbage within 10 years’. Sales of processed and packed vegetables is growing The question is how we deal with this as an industry. We would like to invite you for a debate where we share data and inspiring examples and discuss with you the steps to take to be ready for the future. Please note that registration upfront is obligatory. You can register through Arjan van Steekelenburg, arjan.van.steekelenburg@hazera.com or +31642480735.
