Interest in global farmland is accelerating, given price volatility in commodities, rising human population and environmental pressures as well as concerns for food security. From Asia to Africa to South America - agricultural activity with large scale farming is expected to expand and offer high returns. Cambodia and other countries with large land tracts, workers and incentives are attracting national and global investors as well as corporate majors.

The 2nd Global Large Scale Farm Forum in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 30 November to 1 December 2010 will see major industry players provide their insights on agricultural activities and challenges.

Held under the patronage of His Excellency HE. Chan Tong Yves, Secretary of State Minister of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries, The Kingdom of Cambodia, delegates will hear first-hand from his keynote address on the investment prospects in Cambodia.

The forum is set to of­fer participants a comprehensive confer­ence with invaluable insights from a speaker panel of leading international companies. The key highlights of the forum will focus on the rising pros­pects in the global agricultural busi­ness, land utilisation and acquisition policies.  In addition, case studies of com­mercial farms and new investment opportunities, crops and seed varieties, as well as relevant cropping and processing technologies will be discussed.

Also built-in to the two day agenda are specific presentations to provide in-depth views on the agricultural investment outlook, via country-focused sessions: Indonesia, Philippines, Ukraine, Africa, South America, New Zealand, and China.
