The 12th China International Agrochemical and Crop Protection Exhibition & 2nd China International fertilizer Show (CAC 2011) drew to an end in Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center on March18th. Endured two years’ period of depression, the CAC 2011 has gained a significant recovery. The organizer, CCPIT-CHEM told Agropages that much more participants have been found than last year.

The agrochemical companies have already been accustomed to attend this annual festival. As more and more attendees take part in this reputable event, the CCPIT has additionally set up Guangyun No 5&6 Hall in Everbright Hotel as overcrowding in the main hall, West, East, Outside Pavilion. With coverage of 31,000 square meters, 759 exhibitors from 20 countries and 18,000 visitors from over 100 countries have taken part in this great event. According to CCPIT, CAC 2012 will continue to maintain its lively scene as 95% percent of the booths were booked up before the closing ceremony.

The organizer has considerately divided the exhibition area by categories for pesticides, fertilizers, devices and international exhibitors, which provide much convenience and efficiency for the exhibitors and visitors, thus the site was in a good order despite the stream of visitors. Some scaled exhibitors told Agropages that they have found unprecedented visitors than the past, especially the visitors from abroad. Their booths being filled up with visitors has made them a fruitful return as much interaction with their clients. They agreed that this has greatly satisfied their demand on brand shaping and market comprehending.

Several summits and seminars in corresponding time were noteworthy as well. Since March 14th, “the first PestBusiness – Beyond Agriculture seminar”, "5th China International Forum on the Development of Pesticide Industry” and “3rd World Academic Meeting for the Development of Pesticide Technologies and Applications” held in succession have obtained unanimously praise by the participants. 40 experts and scholars from MIIT, ICAMA, CCIPA, India, UK, Brazil, Turkey and South Africa have given their insights about regulation issues, market trends and registration status. With the recovering global agrochemical markets and closer relationship among the companies home and abroad, this high-end and in-depth event will benefit the participants much, as well as boost further development of the Chinese agrochemical industry.

The organizer, CCPIT-CHEM stressed that CAC will continue its internationalization style while expanding on more ranges. It is forecast that CAC will bring Chinese agrochemical companies a splendid future.
