IBC Asia and China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) announces a partnership to co-organize the launch of AgChem Asia, taking place from 20-21 October, 2011 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Centre International Hotel, China.
The China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA), whose network consists of up to 500 member companies representing 90% of China’s agrochemical production capacity, will jointly organize the inaugural AgChem Asia Conference which will be co-located with its annual, flagship AgroChemEx event, a world-renowned exhibition highly recognized by crop protection manufacturers and traders. Both parties have entrusted eChinaChem, to be the supporting orgnaniser who will be responsible for China and US market sales.
In announcing a 5 year collaboration between IBC Asia and CCPIA, the parties expressed their commitment to serving the development of the Asian crop protection industry while leveraging synergies in their existing expertise and business relationships in their respective fields. The parties share parallel views on fostering AgChem Asia Summit into an international, industry-led agrochemical conference while eChinaChem continues to coordinate and provide the best marketing and sales support for the co-organizers.
"IBC’s goal is to be the bridge between the agricultural communities on both the Eastern and Western parts of the world. We encourage individuals to explore business opportunities and develop their international networks. Our conferences help attendees share their innovative ideas for new products to address continuing food security and productivity concerns. This fits in perfectly with CCPIA’s concern and needs to address the current lack in the global agrochemical production industry, and together, we feel we’ll be able to bring the information sharing spirit and networking opportunities to a wider audience”, explained Linda Wan, General Manager, IBC Asia.
"CCPIA is pleased to have the opportunity to partner with IBC Asia in making this Fall’s annual industry meeting in China an even more effective setting for global and Asian agrochemical leaders to exchange ideas and create business opportunities. The production capacity and quality of products in China continues to increase, reflecting the tremendous demand and growth potential in the sector. We look forward to working together to ensure the successful launch of AgChem Asia conference as the preferred venue for people to share their experience and wisdom on the fast evolving crop protection landscape in China. We would also like to extend our invitation to all industry players across the world to leverage this event and network with China’s agrochemical professionals and elites,” commented Luo Hai Zhang , Chairman of CCPIA.
