The 4th China Crop Protection Summit (CCPS), organized by CCM International, was successfully held at Ramada Plaza Gateway Shanghai during 8th - 9th March, 2012. The summit has attracted top managers from famous enterprises to attend, such as Dow AgroSciences, Nufarm, Isagro, Agranova, Chemtura, etc.
Discussion on the 16 hotspots of crop protection market including bio-pesticide, fluorine-containing pesticide, non-crop pesticide and pesticide import and export analysis, 18 expert speakers at home and aboard gathered together at CCPS 2012 to share their insightful ideas about the current situation of China’s crop protection industry, as well as its future development.
Dayuan Xue, Professor from The Central University for Nationalities pointed out that ecological agriculture was the future development of China’s agricultural industry. When ecological agriculture combined well enough with modern agricultural technology, the efficiency and effectiveness of ecological agriculture could be enhanced greatly so that it could feed China’s 1.5 billion population in the future.
Mr. Gregory A. Hanger, New Business Development Leader from Dow AgroSciences made a profound analysis on the driving forces to change the crop protection market. “The crop protection industry can and will deliver highly effective, ‘greener’ solutions to achieve higher productivity as part of the solution to create greater food/feed security.” Mr. Hanger said. His unique perspective won great applause among the audience.
The summit was held by CCM International, the leading consulting company in China. It created a perfect opportunity to communicate face-to-face with those top-level business leaders, experts and professors from the crop protection industry. The interaction between speakers and audiences during the Q&A section was appealing.
