For seven days in November the German city of Hanover will host 2,900 of the worlds most innovative agricultural manufacturers, service providers and conferences at Agritechnia. The theme for this years event "Green Future – Smart Technology" will include international specialist program.
The biennial machinery trade fair is organised by the German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft or DLG) and boasted almost half a million attendees in 2015 from across the globe.
DLG said exhibitors from 53 countries have already registered for what is styled as the worlds number one trade fair for agriculture machinery.
The two day conference is a showcase of current developments in agricultural engineering and the latest research findings, said the DLG. Participants interested in emerging markets and economies can attend “Ag Machinery International 2017.” The series of conferences focus on Europe, Africa and Asia with regard to current challenges and opportunities for mechanisation. The DLG said current technologies and trends on display will ensure a sustainable productivity increase in agriculture.
