Aid & International Development Forum (AIDF) brings together leading experts in water security, including policy makers, researchers, development agencies, NGOs and the private sector, to share ideas on how to develop more effective policies to improve sustainable water management, economic opportunities and water related disaster relief in the Asia Pacific region.
Delegates can expect to build long-lasting partnerships and more effective public-private collaborations whilst influencing debate on water security and policy, discovering business and investment opportunities in sustainable water management systems and exchanging ideas on improving water quality and overcoming water-born diseases.
With a history spanning over a decade including the delivery of successful events in Geneva and Washington DC, 1,000 participants from around the world came together for the inaugural AIDF Asia-Pacific on the 30-31 January 2013 in Bangkok. Unique to the Asia-Pacific region, AIDF brought together a large number of key practitioners and was met with widespread support. The forum highlighted a need for ongoing networking, targeted dialogue and an exploration of strategic alliances on a more intimate level.
