The International Phosphates Industry Innovation and Technology Symposium (SYMPHOS) is a biennial world-class gathering, bringing together all actors of the phosphates and derivatives industry. This predominantly technological and scientific event showcases the progress of Research & Development in such fields as phosphates and derivatives, technical, scientific, and technological innovation, new agricultural applications, and sustainable development and renewable energy.

SYMPHOS 2017 will build on the advances achieved during its three previous editions (May 2011, May 2013, and May 2015) and will focus on R&D with the aim of strengthening and entrenching a sustainable form of agriculture, driven by innovation, new technology, and next-generation fertilisers.

The 4th International Symposium on Innovation & Technology in the Phosphate Industry from May 8 to 10, 2017 in Benguerir, Morocco Mohammed VI Polytechnic University - Congress Center. SYMPHOS, organized by OCP, has become a major international event for the phosphate industry and its derivatives. After three successful SYMPHOS events, the 4th provides another opportunity to bring together industry leaders in the phosphate sector.This biennial event is a flagship event for scientists, research institutions, academics, phosphate and fertilizers producers, distributors, engineering firms, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and technology, government agencies, those involved in optimizing crop yields and quality, etc.

This event provides a unique opportunity to:

- Exchange new techniques and technologies that can improve production
- Discuss best practices with an emphasis on sustainable development and environmental preservation
- Consider the future of the phosphate industry with a responsible approach, based on clean technologies.
