7th International Conference on Urban Pests

The Brazilian Conference Organizing Committee has pleasure to invite and welcome you to participate in the 7th International Conference on Urban Pests (ICUP2011) to be held on 7-10 August, 2011, in Ouro Preto, Brazil.

This triennial conference offers an excellent forum for exchanging ideas and information on the biology and control of pests in urban environments. The experience of the previous years show that the event is attended by prominent entomologists, pest management and chemical professionals, university scientists and authorities from all over the world.

Previous conference venues included Cambridge, England (1993), Edinburgh, Scotland (1996) Prague, Czech Republic (1999), Charleston, USA (2002), Singapore (2005) and Budapest (2008). We are pleased to join now this illustrious list and host this remarkable event in 2011, for the first time in South America. The official language of the Conference will be English and the format will include guest speakers, presented papers, posters and workshops/symposia.
