International Farming Technology Expo is the first major event in Indonesia that focuses on farming and agriculture industry. This event will become the cornerstone for Indonesia in realizing the vision to focus on farming and agriculture as one of the key economic driver.

• Net foreign direct and portfolio investment into Indonesia totaled US$23.2 billion in 2013, according to official balance of payments (BOP) data.
• The country’s Gross Domestic Product reached US$868.3 billion as of 2013, increasing by 6.15% for the past three years since 2010.
• In 2012, agribusiness sector contributed 23.44% of Indonesia’s total GDP. The plantation sub-sector (food crops, plantation crops and others) is the largest contributor at 77%.
