Registration exhibitors Seed meets Technology 2017 started

At week 39 in September, the Seed Valley area opens again its doors for her customers. Besides the open field days at a number of seed companies, Seed meets Technology is an unmissable event. It is now possible to register for the exhibition and Vegetable Trials. Already 31 companies signed in for this fourth edition.

Expected are that more than 40 companies from the Netherlands and abroad will display their high-quality varieties, new cultivation systems and seed technology. That Seed Valley is the international center for plant breeding and seed technology, is demonstrated by the quality and quantity of visitors coming to the Netherlands in week 39. Seed meets Technology alone has gotten 1,700 visitors last year, from which almost half came from abroad. The target group is consists of growers, seed technologists, and resellers of seeds and propagation material. Under seed technologists we mean employees of seed companies such as laboratory technicians, operators, breeders and researchers.

Seed meets Technology will take place this year from September 26 until September 28, 2017. This fourth edition will be held again in the buildings from research centre Proeftuin Zwaagdijk. Initiators are also Incotec, Leba Metalworks and Seed Processing Holland. The initiators have decided to drop the Friday and instead, be open on Wednesday evening.

The concept that the organization pursues, is showing innovation in real. Seed processing machines are actually demonstrated and the results of new seed treatments are shown in the greenhouse. An important element is also the Vegetable Trials. At the demo fields outside, several seed companies will be showing their new range of varieties.

Besides the technology exhibition and the Vegetable Trials, there will be organized again symposia and presentations by companies.
