    The Brazilian Seed Technology Association (ABRATES) is promoting the XX Brazilian Seed Congress (XX CBSementes), from August 7th to 10th, 2017, at the Rafain Palace Hotel & Convention Center in Foz do Iguaçu, PR.
     
    Realized since 1979, CBSementes is the largest event in the area, recognized inside and outside the country. It brings together technicians, producers, entrepreneurs, researchers, professors and undergraduate and graduate students linked to the seed sector, in addition to the main companies in the sector.
     
    With the theme "Seeds: New Challenges and Technological Innovations", the congress will offer lectures, panels, poster sessions with scientific works, as well as the technological show room for new products and services of companies in the Agro scenario.
     
    The programming of XX CBSementes also includes the XIV Brazilian Symposium on Seed Pathology, the IX Brazilian Symposium on Forest Seed Technology and the III Brazilian Symposium on Seeds of Forage Species.

She also serves as Chair of the Crop Protection Commission at the Mexican Association of Professionals in Health Regulation (AMEPRES). Romy holds a Law degree, postgraduate studies in Administrative and Health Law, and a diploma in Customs Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, strengthening her focus on trade, regulatory compliance, and customs management.
