The continuous expansion that have experienced the cultivation of blueberries worldwide have led to its growth in terms of harvest and consumer interest across the world. In this context, the Blueberries Consulting organization will host the second edition of international seminars in Spain, which will arrive in Madrid on October 30th.

The seminar will feature the participation of prominent national and foreign exhibitors, and will be the propitious instance to update knowledge, resolve and raise concerns to the specialists to discuss the different topics included in the Program.
 
During the event it will be possible to study and analyze the development of this fruit´s market globally in recent times, as well as talk about the advances, difficulties and opportunities of genetic improvement in blueberries, nutrition vegetable to obtain quality fruit, hydroponic production and the key aspects of control, factors that affect foliar fertilization, use of growth regulators, use of biostimulants and the importance of irrigation in the growth and development of this crop.
 
The prestigious group of speakers includes Dr. Jorge Retamales, who has a Doctorate in agronomy and international consultant, Dr. Patrick Du Jardin, recognized agronomist with a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Liège (Belgium) Dr. James Hancock, professor emeritus of the Department of Horticulture of the Michigan State University, Dr. Chad Finn, genetic researcher of the Department of United States Agriculture (USDA), Dr. David Bryla, researcher in the area of horticulture and member of the US Agriculture Service (USDA), Dr. Juan Hirzel, agronomist and INIA Chile researcher, Dr. Heiner Goldbach, professor of nutrition of plants and member of the Institute of Crop Science and Conservation of Resources from the University of Bonn (Germany), Dr. María del Carmen Salas, engineer agronomist and professor of the doctorate of Protected Agriculture of the University of Almería, Mr. Hans Liekens, Commercial Manager for Europe, Asia and the Middle East of the company Fall Creek & amp; Nursery and Mr. Federico Beltrán, General Manager of Terra Business SAC in Peru.
 
To take in consideration
In the XIII version of international seminars Blueberries Consulting will be developed different topics of interest among the increasingly challenging and competitive industry of this fruit.
The sustainable production of crops, factors to consider in the elaboration of programs nutritional factors, factors that affect the permanence, penetration and translocation of nutrients, irrigation planning and the estimation of water requirements, challenges and purposes of a breeding program, will be part of the debate in Madrid.
 
The invitation to participate is addressed to producers, exporters, professionals, consultants, researchers and authorities of public or private entities related to the production and export of blueberries, who will be able to solve and raise concerns the specialists.

Within the Seminar there are six talks that will be delivered in English and five in Spanish. For all of them, there will be simultaneous translation English-Spanish and Spanish-English.
