In 2021, the rapid development pace of China’s pesticide industry has disrupted by policy restrictions. Domestic production and supply tightened, product prices hit historical high. Chinese supply has impacted many end markets overseas, and international procurement is shrouded in uncertainty. Entering 2022, the price trend of products is still unclear. On the whole, the global competitiveness of China's pesticide industry is constantly strengthening, and a new modern pesticide production system is being formed.

Overseas, with the acceleration of global economic changes, agricultural markets in many countries are gradually getting rid of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, and recovering their vitality. However, in early 2022, the war that broke out in Eastern Europe led to a sudden change in the international situation. Global energy, chemical, agriculture and other fields were greatly affected, and food supply was threatened. The regional agricultural market is facing challenges, which will also affect the future development pattern of the agrochemical market.

In 2022, China Pesticide Exporting Workshop (CPEW) will be held for the 5th consecutive year in Hangzhou, China. Over 400 companies participated in this event at home and abroad. CPEW will continue to play its role as a platform to aggregate the upstream and downstream entities of the agricultural industry chain. Under the background of the turbulent new international situation, we will jointly discuss the direction of global agricultural development, and discuss how agrochemical enterprises should rationally adjust their business structure, plan their industrial chain, and seek breakthrough, and finally ensure the upward development of global agriculture.
