At present, High-end Agricultural Machinery is at the top end of “pyramid” of global agricultural machinery industry, which includes high-horsepower tractor and its agricultural implements, large intelligent combine harvester, rice harvester, cotton picker, spraying machine, etc. “High-end” is mainly manifested in three aspects: "high technology", "high quality" and "high value".

Effected by the strategic adjustment of Chinese agricultural structure, the implement of national agricultural subsidies policy and the acceleration of land transference, which promote the emergency of new agribusiness entities, such as family farms, cooperatives etc, the demands of advanced & available, intelligent, precision, compound, automotive and large-scale high-end agricultural machinery products is growing rapidly. It is estimated that the total demand of high-end agricultural machinery products will continue to grow in China in the next five years. However, due to the booming market and users””s higher requirement for the quality and reliability of high-end agricultural products, those products which are produced by China’s key agricultural machinery enterprise can not satisfy the demand of the market. Because complete enterprise lack the ability to continuous technological innovation and many key technologies such as hydraulic components,Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), electric hydraulic lifter, large angel front axel, unmanned technology, fieldbus control system, electronics & components have been bottlenecked. Except the bottleneck of the R & D and innovation of key technologies, the level of manufacturing technologies of high-end agricultural machinery is another factor, which restrict the development of high-end agricultural machinery in China. The accelerating pace of upgrading of agricultural machinery products require new demands for the new processing methods. (CAD/CAM, laser cutting technologies, numerical control and automation technology, etc.) So it is very important to improve the level of manufacturing technologies and the products reliability of agricultural machinery.

In order to promote the innovation of high-end agricultural machinery industry in China, to strengthen the communication and cooperation with the foreign parts enterprise of high-end agricultural machinery and to elevate the level of manufacturing technologies of high-end agricultural machinery in China. Initiated by QZ Events and supported by famous agricultural machinery enterprieses, agricultural machinery associations and agricultural machinery research institutes, 2014 High-end Agricultural Machinery Innovation Summit (AMS 2014)will be held from December 4-5, 2014 in Shanghai. This event will bring together about 350 attendees including the leading experts of highend agricultural machinery industry at home and broad and enterprise representatives from foreign agricultural giants, foreign agricultural machinery parts enterprise, China’s key agricultural machinery enterprise and advanced equipment manufacturing enterprise to discuss the innovation technology and advanced manufacturing technology of high-end agricultural machinery industry. The theme of this event is “ Technical Innovation---Open a New Chapter for High-end Agricultural Machinery Industry”. The summit is focusing on Key Technologies and Equipment of High-horsepower Tractor, Intelligent Combine Harvester and Key Parts & Attachments and Digital Manufacturing Technology. Meanwhile, it sets up various segments like keynote speeches, panel discussion, technical communication, Q & A and product showcase, etc.
